Javier Müller Lamothe is a young architect from Granada with a studio in Geneva, Switzerland. From there he collaborates in international projects providing a very artistic vision of architecture in all his projects. In his own words: “My approach to architecture has a strong plastic character, I believe in architecture as an inhabited sculpture”. Among his influences we can find artists such as Donald Judd, Sol Lewitt, Richard Sierra, Imi Knoebel, Josef Albers or Bruno Munari, among others. In his style, his Mediterranean roots also stand out, always having heritage, culture and tradition as an ally.
I especially focus on his search for the “less is more” philosophy so present in his influences and consequently, say as much as possible with the least expression.
Here I present the first approach to the design of his visual identity. The first chapter of a really interesting integral design project.
